1. What types of services do you offer? (e.g. tracking, mixing, coaching, songwriting)

   We offer a full range of audio services including recording, vocal tracking, mixing, artist coaching, pre-production planning, and songwriting support. We also help with arrangements and live session prep.

2. How much does it cost?

   Our goal is to keep high-quality music production accessible. Rates start at $50/hr with package deals available for multi-session bookings. Contact us directly to discuss your project needs and get a personalized quote.

3. Can I book by the hour, or do you offer package rates?

   Yes to both. We offer flexible hourly sessions as well as discounted packages for artists working on EPs, albums, or long-term projects.

4. What kind of gear or instruments are available? (Equipment page is helpful—may want to expand)

   We’re equipped with industry-standard hardware and software including the Universal Audio Apollo 8, pro-grade mics, outboard gear, and virtual instruments. A detailed list is available on our Studio Gear page.

5. Do you offer remote or hybrid sessions if I can’t come in person?

   Yes. We work with artists remotely for mixing, track feedback, and virtual coaching. Remote vocal tracking and collaboration are also available upon request.

About Tony Max and Mission

1. What inspired you to start this studio? (e.g., your Bushwick roots and memoir)

   As a lifelong musician, NYC public school educator, and community leader, I created Tony Max Music to give independent artists access to professional sound without the high barrier of entry. It’s about creating legacy, healing, and truth through music.

2. How does your story—like your memoir—connect to the studio’s mission?

   After surviving COVID and writing Edge of My Heart, I realized that storytelling—in music or writing—has the power to heal. This studio is about helping others tell their truth with excellence and heart.

3. What does it mean that you're “independently owned”?

   It means we’re a local, community-driven studio—not backed by a corporation or major label. We operate with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to artists over algorithms.

   You can find it on Amazon in hard cover, paperback, and Kindle formats. If you wish to support me more you can buy it directly from my author page on books.by, and Signed copies are available at select author events. Check the Events page for more info.

2. Will there be more book readings or author events?

   Yes! I am working to regularly host book talks, author signings, and speaking engagements. Follow us on Instagram @tonymaxmusic82 and check the website to stay updated.

Booking & Community Engagement

1. How do I schedule a consultation or book a session?

   Visit our Contact page to submit a request. We’ll respond promptly to discuss your goals and availability.

2. Can the studio be used for podcasts, voiceovers, or other projects?

   Yes. We welcome all kinds of audio work—spoken word, voiceovers, podcast intros, and more. Let’s talk about what you need.

3. Do you offer sliding scale or scholarships for local artists?

   We occasionally offer discounted rates or scholarship sessions to local youth, students, and church creatives. Reach out to see what’s available.

4. Are there opportunities for live performances or events at the studio?

   No, Because our studio is very intimate we aren’t equipped to host a live event. What we can do is help you plan and schedule one in local venues we are affiliated with.
