Why I Do It

When people ask me where I’m from, I say OG Bushwick. Born and raised there, it’s the place my heart still calls home—even though my family later moved to Ridgewood.

As a Dominican kid growing up in Bushwick, I didn’t have access to affordable studios, and that used to kill me. I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years, and I know how important it is for independent artists to have a space to create, experiment, and record without going broke.

That’s why I built Tony Max Music—a creative space where artists can flesh out ideas, work through arrangements, and produce high-quality recordings with live instrumentation, top-tier musicians, and flexible payment plans. I work around your budget to give you a professional sound without the industry gatekeeping.

The studio isn’t just a place to record—it’s a place to grow. Whether you're a singer, rapper, writer, podcaster, or voice actor, the recording process sharpens your craft.

On July 28th, 2025, I became a published author with my memoir, Edge of My Heart, a powerful story about surviving COVID-19, rediscovering purpose, and reclaiming my voice. Now, I bring that same heart into every session I lead—because I believe your voice matters, too.
